With Autumn gathering momentum and evenings closing in fast, it was great to have 47 competitors enjoying another beautiful evening. The course and greens are in superb order and it is encouraging that the “green shoots” of recovery are appearing from the blackened hillsides of the 3rd., 4th. and 5th. holes The scoring matched the conditions and we had some of the best returns this season. Competition for the coveted League trophy is also intensifying with the main contenders anxiously keeping an eye on each other.

The FINAL of the Tuesday Nighters will take place on Sunday 22nd September. Those who have 4 cards in throughout the Season will qualify for the Final.  There are still plenty of opportunities left to get those cards in, so we look forward to seeing you over the coming weeks.

P.S. As there is an 18 Hole Competition off the white stakes next Tuesday there will be no Tuesday Nighters.

Despite the Open Singles Competition earlier in the day, 39 competitors turned out on another balmy evening with just enough wind blowing to make conditions “interesting”! A record “Optimism Factor” of 100% was achieved – quelle surprise!
